Hi, I’m Elizabeth, I appreciate jewellery that is truly handmade and well made with skill and passion. That’s exactly how I design and make my precious metal jewellery. I was taught traditional silversmithing and goldsmithing techniques so consequently I use silver and gold and various processes to create high quality contemporary jewellery. The process of making jewellery is something I really get absorbed in, I confess I’m a total tool geek !
Award Winner
After 16 years as a scientist I decided to pursue my passion for designing and creating jewellery. I graduated from Sir John Cass School of Art and Design in 2004 (London Metropolitan University) with a design based HND in Silversmithing, Jewellery and Allied Crafts. With the pieces from my final exhibition, I went onto win 1st prize for Innovation and Excellence in Design Development from the Worshipful Company of Goldsmiths. This prestigious award opened up a world of opportunities for me to branch out and develop. I currently live and work in BirminghamBr where I continue to work designing and creating exciting, original jewellery. More recently, I was awarded best luxury eco jewellery brand 2018 by Lux life magazine.
Exclusive and Original: Elizabeth Anne Norris Jewellery
Influenced by my previous career in environmental science I love shapes and textures found in nature. I use simple lines and delicate textures and finishes to make stunning original jewellery. My jewellery aims to bring an ‘everyday extravagance’ to the wearer. Each piece of jewellery I make is created from scratch each time so is totally unique.
Learn Silver Jewellery Making with me
I pass on my expert skills and knowledge through teaching small group jewellery classes and workshops in Birmingham Jewellery Quarter. Since 2011, I’ve been teaching adults silver jewellery making and I love it! You can learn traditional jewellery and silversmithing techniques in my well equipped workshop in Birmingham. Students work in silver and learn how to use hand tools, electronic tools and a propane gas torch essential for metalwork. Tuition options are available for complete beginners and those who want to improve their skills.
Make Your Own Wedding Rings
With more and more couples asking me if they could make their own wedding rings I launched the make your own wedding rings workshop in 2018. It’s proving popular with couples who want to create memories associated with that symbol of their love, the rings!

I love what I do. I love good quality handmade jewellery.
